The Nitty-Gritty Details
Shared Leadership Model
Wild Embodiment is a collective. We share leadership and the responsibility to care for the community and continuation of our shared dance practice. Each person that holds a role is supported by others. When anyone needs help, other people are there to step in. The flower of life symbolizes the structure of support, so that no one person needs to hold it all.
How W.E. Makes Decisions
Ours is a non-hierarchical community where every voice counts. All are welcome at our community meetings where we strive through authentic, respectful, spirited conversation to come to consensus on W.E.-related topics. In the rare case where consensus can not be achieved we table a conversation until another time. With a time sensitive issue, we vote on key decisions.
Our meetings are open to anyone who considers themself a part of our community. All meetings are on Zoom unless otherwise stated. Make sure that you are subscribed to the newsletter to get updates on dates and times of our meetings.
If you would like to add something to the agenda you can talk to Colyn, email us, or submit an anonymous suggestion to our 'suggestion box' on our contact us page.
W.E. believes in transparency. Anyone can view our past meeting agendas. Here is the folder of the past agendas.
There are three people that are admin members: Rae manages our finances, Michael orchestrates music, and Colyn organizes communication.
